COOMAP and Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu are promoting, this week, the Men’s Clothing Manufacturing course, offered to cooperative members, their families and staff. The course is taught by the instructor Abner Sallem Silva and is attended by eight people.
The course teaches a variety of skills. Among them, notions of clothing and textiles, maintenance and operation of the sewing machine, clothing modeling, shirts making, finishing and copying patterns, pants manufacturing and finishing.
Participants are also learning about basic safety care at work and clothing conservation, and also management skills and characteristics of the entrepreneur behavior. The course lasts 40 hours and is being held at a school in the Penereiro neighborhood.
This training is yet another income source opportunity offered by COOMAP to its members and their families, remembering that the city of Paraguaçu is a regional hub for men’s clothing manufacturing. COOMAP, for 65 years cultivating work, harvesting results.
