On March 26th, COOMAP held the Ordinary General Meeting in its warehouse, following Covid-19 prevention protocol. After the opening, conducted by the president Nilson Andrade and by the general manager Renato de Melo, the managers made presentations of their departments. Then, cooperative members unanimously approved the Rendering of Accounts of the year 2021 and the external audit opinion was presented by the auditor, approving the same accounts.
Among other important decisions, cooperative members also unanimously approved the Budget Plan for the 2022 fiscal year and the effective and substitute members of the Fiscal Council were elected for the period 2022/2023. Also during the meeting, COOMAP responded to a request from the cooperative members to create a discussion group that will seek alternatives to the shortage of labor in rural areas.
Before closing the AGO, Renato de Melo reminded everyone that COOMAP will complete 65 years on May 2nd. “We would like to thank you very much for the participation and involvement of all of you, the cooperative members and their families, and ask that God give us strength so that we can continue working, advancing and walking together, overcoming the obstacles of everyday life,” concluded Renato.
