COOMAP, in partnership with Senar Minas/Rural Union from Paraguaçu, carries out this week, at Dom Bosco Sports Court and in a coffee plantation, the Integrated Management Course of Pests and Diseases. Cooperative members and their family members and employees have signed up for this training. Its workload is 24 hours, with theoretical and practical classes. It is taught by Senar instructor André Pimenta Silva. It deals with the following subjects: main pests, diseases and natural enemies of coffee cropw and the techniques of cultural, biological, behavioral, chemical and other kinds of control. With this course, COOMAP keeps seeking to improve the quality of the coffee produced by the cooperative members. COOMAP, for 65 years cultivating work, harvesting results.
