This Monday, the 17th, COOMAP promoted a First Aid Training for the Cooperative staff members. The training followed all safety protocols and was carried out by Actos Occupational Safety, through a partnership with the Nursing course at the University of Alfenas.
Employees learned about principles of first aid, the role of the rescuer and learned to identify vital and support signs, in addition to receiving information about trauma, burns, electric shock, hemorrhages and fractures, as well as other emergency situations. .
Two teachers and four students, from the last year of the Nursing Major, taught participants. Professor Adriana Ponciano Fernandes Sarkis Rocha said that among the objectives are academic qualification and recognition of the professional’s performance in workers’ health.
The person responsible for Actos Bem Estar, Ana Isabel Vieira Moreira, stated that the training is geared towards the constant training of COOMAP employees, guaranteeing safety, not only for them, but also for those who attend the Cooperative. With this training, COOMAP, invests in the professionalization of its team, which is one of its values. COOMAP, for 64 years cultivating, working, harvesting results.
