Since one COOMAP’s values is social responsibility, COOMAP announced yesterday, a donation to Paraguaçu Hospital Foundation (FHOP, in Portuguese), which will be used in a complete renovation of the hospital maternity.
The disclosure of this important donation was made to the managing director of FHOP, Leoni Belini de Azevedo, who was accompanied by Luizinho da Samanta, a town councilor. They were welcomed at COOMAP by Nilson Andrade, board president, and by the general manager, Renato José de Melo.
FHOP had presented the maternity reform project and requested COOMAP for financial support for it. The approval was given by the members during the last Extraordinary General Meeting, held on May 9th. “We are very grateful to Mr. Andrade, Renato and to the other members of the board of directors, and also to each member and their families for the donation. It will certainly benefit the entire community of Paraguaçu”, expressed the direction of FHOP on social networks.
Speaking on behalf of all its employees, Fundação Hospitalar’s board thanked COOMAP, once again, on social media: “May God in his infinite goodness bless this cooperative, all the directors, each member and their family members . May they be increasingly prosperously in their activities ”, he concluded.
This is another COOMAP initiative seeking to improve the community around it!
