COOMAP held the second Work at Height training this year, on July 22nd and 23rd, provided by Senar-MG/Sindicato Rural de Paraguaçu, through instructor Juscelino Fernandes. The course was attended by an employee from the Building Maintenance sector, as well as service providers in the electrical, painting and metal structure areas.
The Work at Height training is carried out in accordance with Regulatory Standard number 35, which establishes minimum requirements for workers protection. The theoretical part of the course, with several contents, including first aid, took place in the Cooperative auditorium, respecting all safety and social distancing standards. The practical part, such as the correct use of the ladder and ropes, was done in COOMAP’s new warehouse.
A first training similar to this one was held last June, for employees from the construction sector, including masons and servants. With these courses, COOMAP shows its attention to employees, especially regarding ​​safety, so that activities are always carried out with no risks. COOMAP, 64 years old.
