This week, COOMAP along with Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu is conducting a course on Agriculture Tractor – Operation with Implements. The course is held at Santa Felicidade 2 Farm, located in Penereiro neighborhood. It is offered to cooperative members and workers, and it is taught by Senar’s instructor Mailson Félix de Oliveira Silva.
The course has 40 hours of duration, in which both theoretical and practical teachings are passed. “We address topics such as safety during machine and implements operation, and machine conservation and maintenance, in order to have a good service performance, while preserving the equipment. During the practical part of the course, we work with four implements, learning about the adjustments and the maintenance, as well as the service in the field”, said instructor Maílson Silva. By the end of the course, the participants receive a certificate and are able to operate the tractor in compliance with the norms established by the Ministry of Labor. One of the participants, Pedro Henrique Souza Alves, who is a cooperative member’s nephew, hopes to perfect his knowledge and skills as a tractor operator. “I want to acquire more knowledge in the correct way, and this course is very good”. Another participant, the worker Anderson Araújo, also hopes to learn more about tractor operation. “I want to learn more and more from the experience that the group already has”, he said.
With this course, COOMAP seeks to contribute to the training and safety of producers and workers in the use of agricultural machinery, improving their performance and contributing to the economic development of its members. COOMAP for 65 years. Cultivating work, harvesting results.
