Certification
The coffee storage structure has four certifications. They are: UTZ, 4C, Fair Trade and Conab, which prove that the storage unit meets the requirements for a properly safe storage process, thus maintaining the characteristics of the product to better serve the market.
RFID
With the change from bags to Big Bags, COOMAP implemented a system with RFID technology to better control its stock. This system provides greater security and efficiency in the control of each batch of coffee, that is, it provides 100% traceability, controlling the rural producer’s coffee in a personalized way.

COOMAP’s storage and reprocessing structure has undergone significant changes in the last three years. The first of these was the expansion of storage capacity from
70 thousand bags to
200 thousand bags. Another change was storage, which was previously done in bags, and is now done in Big Bags.
The reprocessing system was installed with a capacity of 120 bags per hour, comprising a stone collector, sieve separator, electronic densimetric table and alloy flask. This investment was necessary to meet the demands of the coffee market, especially the international one.
