This week is taking place the course on Women’s Clothing Making, offered to COOMAP members and taught by Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu, throgh instructor Abner Sallem Silva. Eight women are taking part in this apprenticeship, which includes several skills, such as, for example, maintaining and operating sewing machines, making blouses and pants, and designing skirts.
Participants are also learning about basic occupational safety care, health maintenance, clothing conservation and characteristics of entrepreneurial behavior. The course lasts 40 hours and is being held at the Aconchego farm, in Chico dos Santos neighborhood.
This training is another opportunity offered by COOMAP to generate income for its members and their families. COOMAP, cultivating work, harvesting results.
