COOMAP realized, in partnership with Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu, the course on Tractorized Application of Agricultural Defensives. There were 12 participants, including members, members’ children and employees. The course was held at the Oriente farm, in the Aeroporto district. It lasts 24 hours and André Pimenta Silva is the instructor assigned for it.
The course covers basic knowledge on acquisition, transport and storage of pesticides, legislation that rules this rural activity, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and spraying equipment. On the practical stage of the course, students learn how to carry out the entire process of tractor application of agricultural pesticides in the field.
