The Course on Integrated Management of Places and Diseases – MIP&D is being offered by COOMAP to members and their employees. The course runs until Saturday and is held at Poliesportivo Dom Bosco and the practical part at Santa Claudia Farm. It is taught by Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu, through instructor André Pimenta Silva, with a workload of 24 hours.
According to the instructor, the course is important for the producer and rural workers to know the exact moment of applying pesticides to control pests and diseases. “In this training, we carry out a population survey of pests and diseases and identify the level of each one of them, whether they are at the level of control, balance or damage, and what is the best job to be done at that time,” he said André Pimenta.
Thus, the course content includes several studies, such as the main pests, diseases and natural enemies of the crop and control techniques. The course also brings good practices in health and safety at work, and care for the environment.
This is another COOMAP work aimed at training and developing our members and their collaborators, through good partnerships. COOMAP, for 64 years cultivating work, harvesting results.
