How about learning how to prepare delicious sweets from our cuisine? And What about those snacks that cannot be missing at any Brazilian party, like our traditional coxinha? This is what ten women are doing this week, including cooperative members and family members, all participating in the Craft Production of Party Pastries and Savouries course.

This course is promoted by COOMAP in partnership with Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu. Held for the second time just this semester, this time it is taking place at the association of Cachoeira Neighborhood (Afabaca), following all safety protocols in prevention of Covid-19. The course is taught by Senar instructor Gabriella Santos.

Within the 24-hour workload, in addition to knowing the entire production process of savories and sweets, participants also learn to identify health risk factors in food preparation and hygiene techniques, in addition to the rescue of regional recipes, among other contents.

The Artisanal Production of Savory and Party Sweets is another COOMAP initiative aimed at supporting producers and their families in the search for extra income, awakening entrepreneurship in them. COOMAP, for 64 years cultivating work, harvesting results.
