Following its schedule of courses, COOMAP is offering this week another Training Course on Safety and Health at Work at Height, this time with employees, people linked to rural areas and other participants. The course lasts 16 hours and will happen until Tuesday, taught by Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu, through instructor Juscelino Fernandes.
The course follows Regulatory Standard 35 (NR35), which establishes the requirements and protection measures that must be adopted to ensure workers safety when carrying out activities at height. According to the instructor, the three basic principles in these activities are taught in the course, such as planning, organization and execution; the difference between routine and non-routine work; risk assessment and control measures; operating procedures; and work permit.
In addition to the theoretical classes, at COOMAP auditorium, following the COVID-19 safety and prevention protocol, students will also undergo practical sections, in the Cooperative’s new warehouse, using equipment, procedures and techniques for rescue and first aid, so that, at the end of the course, they receive the certificate issued by the Senar. With this course, COOMAP reinforces its constant concern with safety and health of all people connected to its activities, directly or indirectly. COOMAP, for 64 years cultivating work, harvesting results.
