COOMAP female staff members were honored on International Women’s Day. They received a small souvenir from the hands of the president of the Cooperative, Nilson Andrade, and the general manager, Renato José de Melo.
The tribute was held in the auditorium, following the entire security protocol determined by the city’s Epidemiological Surveillance. Nilson Andrade and Renato Melo highlighted the importance of the female presence within the Cooperative and thanked them for their commitment, dedication and, above all, for their sensitivity regarding the work they develop at COOMAP.
They were also invited by the Human Resources Department to participate in a challenge: A mural was set up in the Store, during the month of March, so that they could post notes completing the sentence: “I’m a woman and that’s why….” . There were many participations, in which they expressed how they face life’s challenges.
In addition, each of them wrote a testimonial about their achievements at COOMAP, which was shown on the screen and on TV monitors throughout the store. “Theses activities were aimed at recognizing and valuing the women of the COOMAP team,” said HR analyst Maria Clara do Prado Alves.
