Every June 5th is celebrated World Environment Day.
On this very day, COOMAP went to Luiz de Melo Viana Sobrinho city school, in Paraguaçu, in order to discuss with children how important it is to take care of the trash. This talk was conducted by Bárbara Gurgel, staff member at COOMAP, who discovered that the young ones are already putting their hands on it at home or at school. They were also oriented to save water and electricity, recycle paper and packs since on a daily basis.
Taking care of the environment is taking care of life.
COOMAP believes in these attitudes and supports projects that encourage children to become aware of the environmental cause.
