In order to celebrate an year of good harvest COOMAP congregates members and promotes event in partnership with UNIFENAS.
Paraguaçu people are totally aware that the town’s growth depends on good agricultural results. Since 2016 was a good year in this aspect, nothing better than celebrate earth’s good fruits. This was the reason for COOMAP promote the first Paraguaçu Gratefulness for the Harvest Celebration.
With Juvenato Social Center dependences full of rural producers, there was a special ceremony conducted by the father Pedro Meloni. Furthermore, COOMAP established a partnership with UNIFENA in order to expand the event purpose and have a health fair. “The meeting is a way to thank for the good year of rural activities. But it’s also a proof that COOMAP is broadening its work philosophy in order attend in better way our cooperative members and their families”, pondered the president Nilson Andrade.
With ten groups specialized in different areas, students from Alfenas University and Alzira Velano University Hospital professional set up orientation booths in order to assist the growers.
“COOMAP has been developing itself in a consistent way and nowadays already takes coffee from Paraguaçu to other countries. But this partnership means that we are aware that it’s necessary not to take care only of the production, but also take care of people’s health”, emphasized Soloni Viana, marketing and communication advisor at the university. From now on UNIFENAS and COOMAP will always be together”, celebrated the extension director and community affairs, Rogério Ramos do Prado.
COOMAP thanks for the massive attendance and participation of more than 400 members and emphasized that new events like this will happen soon.
