COOMAP is offering, this week, another course on the Tractorized Application of Agricultural Pesticides, made available for cooperative members, producers and their staff. It was held at Sitio Oriente, taught by instructor André Pimenta Silva, in a partnership between COOMAP and Senar Minas/Rural Union of Paraguaçu.
The course lasts 24 hours and teaches participants basic knowledge about agricultural pesticides, the use of Individual Protection Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protection (EPC), notions of first aid and procedures for emergency situations, in addition to other items. And in the practical part, they learn the entire preparation procedure, application of pesticides and safety issues related to this the work, and other skills.
COOMAP understands the importance of training and safety for producers and rural workers when it comes to applying pesticides. This contributes to their and their families’ and staff’s health. COOMAP, for 64 years cultivating work, harvesting results.
